My approach

My practice is grounded in humanistic and person-centred psychology. I am interested in the whole person, not particular diagnoses. I believe you are the expert in your own life and will work collaboratively with you to find your own solutions to the struggles you’re facing in daily life.

Using an integrative approach, I draw on evidence-based therapies to meet the needs of my clients. Most of all, I use a non-judgmental and empathic listening ear to give you the space to express and explore your emotional experience and find practical ways to better cope in your individual life circumstances.

Individual Counselling

One-on-one, “sit-down” counselling in my cozy therapy space in Dickson. It is an hour just for you. Bring whatever is bothering you and I’ll provide a warm, non-judgemental and compassionate space for you to talk freely.

Online Counselling

While face-to-face counselling has advantages, it isn’t always possible and sometimes not convenient. If you are unable to make it to the office for face-to-face counselling, we can set up a secure Zoom meeting for confidential therapy in your own space.

Walk and Talk

Sometimes it is easier to talk when you’re side-by-side in the soothing presence of nature. Nature has a way of rejuvenating us. Throw some talk therapy into the mix and it is an hour well spent. It doesn’t hurt that you get some steps in too.

Wellness Workshops

My colleagues and I deliver workshops on topics including mindfulness, living authentically in line with your values, and climate distress to name just a few. If you have a group and a topic in mind, make an enquiry to see what we can arrange.
